Trade between India and Russia continues to gain momentum. Considering that India is one of the world's leading producers of generic medicines and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), there is significant potential for expansion.

Financial settlements between the two countries remain complicated due to sanctions and banking restrictions. Expanding settlements in national currencies (Indian rupees and Russian rubles) and establishing reliable clearing mechanisms will be essential.
