Information Required for a Quote

1. Importer and consignee

Provide the names of the importing company and the cargo consignee.

2. Incoterms 2020 and route

Specify the Incoterms 2020 rule, cargo collection address and final delivery address. For EXW shipments, provide the exact address of the factory or warehouse. For FOB shipments, specify the port of loading, for example, FOB Qingdao, as well as the final delivery address.

3. Cargo details

Specify the type of cargo, its dimensions and weight.

4. Special cargo requirements

Indicate whether the cargo is dangerous, fragile, valuable, oversized, perishable or requires special transportation conditions.

5. Type of packaging

Specify how the cargo is packed: cartons, pallets, crates, bags or other packaging. Please also indicate whether the cargo can be stacked.
