Delivery times for auto parts from China and the UAE to Russia are increasingly exceeding 30 days - the period allowed for vehicle repairs under Russia's compulsory motor insurance scheme (OSAGO).
According to the All-Russian Insurance Association, transportation costs have increased by approximately 30%, while delivery schedules have become less predictable.
Auto parts delivery from the UAE can now take 40-45 days, while rail freight from China to Russia takes 30-45 days. Transit times on road routes from China have increased by an average of 7-10 days.
Delivery times are affected by congestion at border crossings, slot availability, route adjustments and transportation costs. Advance planning is particularly important for large automotive components that require significant cargo space.
