It is this phrase that can characterize the organization of transportation of spare parts for the repair of a power plant. Transportation of such bulky cargo was to be from Nizhny Novgorod to Zhengzhou.
The ACEX employees agreed with the customer all the nuances of transportation: budget, work of vehicles, flight booking. But overnight the legend changes. Now the cargo must be picked up not in Nizhny Novgorod, but in St. Petersburg, but delivered as before within the specified time.
On the appointed day, the car arrived for loading, picked up the cargo, started moving to the airport, but – the legend is changing again! At the last moment, the airline announced that the entire flight was purchased for charter transportation, and the cargo was rebooked for the next flight, which departs in six days. Of course, this option did not suit, and it was urgently necessary to find an alternative within the framework of the already approved budget.
The next departure was scheduled for the next day on a direct flight. As soon as the car arrived to unload and place the cargo on the temporary storage warehouse, the legend changes again. The terminal staff offered to unload using a crane, for which the car must be placed in the customs control zone. However, such procedures are approved in advance and require additional coordination and planning, which entails disruption of delivery dates. In order to avoid such an outcome, our employees agreed with the terminal staff and independently organized the unloading. And the next day – without any adventures – the cargo arrived at the destination airport.
There is one saying: the situation goes according to plan only for the first five minutes, and then it begins to change rapidly. The same is true in this case: the legend was constantly changing, but it was still possible to deliver bulky cargo on time and at the same time not go beyond the established budget.
